With my own 5 year wedding anniversary approaching (26/10), I think about what our future may bring. If it is anything like this amazing family of 3, we'll be pinching ourselves. I had the beautiful pleasure of photographing this 25 year wedding vow renewal at the recently refurbished Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort. It was filled with so much love, laughter, joy & family togetherness! And if that wasn't enough, we had two performances from their daughter, Charlotte...a poem reading AND a song! IT WAS FABULOUS! ~Emily & Chen Wedding~

As I am getting to know my blog, I am going to post two of my all time favourite weddings. Here is the first instalment in this two part blog.

Emily and Chen were married on 11th of September 2009 and the weather could not have been more perfect. Several friends and family had flown out from the US so it was bound to be a very special day. We started out with hair and make-up at The Marriott in Surfer's Paradise.

From there we went to a home in Currumbin Valley (Chen's family member) to get ready.

From there, we were off to the ceremony site at Hastings Point. In was just gorgeous and there was even a whale out in the water breaching just for Emily & Chen.

 As the sun went down on their perfect day...they laughed and danced the night away with their closest friends and loved ones. A perfect union!!
