It was an extraordinary day for this lovely couple. I arrived to a slightly nervous bride surrounded by helpful female family members. The sky was blue with a slight breeze...absolutely PERFECT!! At the morning ceremony, held at The Southport School (TSS) Chapel, all the nerves subsided when she saw her groom's face as she walked down the aisle. There were a few tears of joy but mostly love & laughter. After the ceremony, we strolled around the immaculate grounds...making sure to capture every single angle of Ange's gorgeous backless Grace Loves Lace dress...she looked stunning! And the afternoon began with an intimate lunch with friends & family at the Crown Plaza's revolving restaurant - Four Winds. What a way to start their life together!!

I have been the wedding coordinator at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise since October 2007. In this time I have coordinated over 250 weddings. My passion is ensuring every bride/groom walks away with a smile.

Can you tell us about your services and what you offer?
CPSP offers everything you need for ceremony and reception in one venue.
Our beautiful chapel can comfortably cater for up to 100 (50 seated), while our lawn ceremony is perfectly located for a quiet garden ceremony.
Our reception packages are fully inclusive of all of the essential items for the perfect reception and reasonably priced from $132.00 per person.
We have also just launched a BYO package at $99.00 per person!
With 367 accommodation rooms we offer standard hotel rooms, apartments and suites. Wedding guests can also enjoy a special stay at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise with discounted room rates and complimentary onsite parking.

What is important for couples to be aware of?
The Gold Coast is NOT always sunny. Make sure you have a wet weather back up and that your wet weather option is something you will be happy with if you have to use it on the day.
When booking a lawn ceremony at our hotel our beautiful chapel is held as your wet weather back up.

How early do you accept bookings?
Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise accepts bookings from 18 months prior.

What special advice do you suggest?
Be organised. Book your suppliers early, finalise the finer details and keep a check list. Then in the days/weeks leading up to the wedding you can enjoy your time with family and friends.
